Team Edward vs Team Borghardt

• I recorded about 26 times where Jesus was mentioned. I found that a good few of them were pronouns, adding to the large amount of mentionings. Some of the verbs linked to jesus were to make holy, died, slain, reigns, loves, put, and lives.

  The difference between themes among Edward’s sermon and Rev Borghardt’s sermon is that Edward’s them was based on how we should fear God with all the power that he possesses. Edward’s sermon didn’t have as many instances where Christ was mentioned and when he was the verbs that were connected to him weren’t very pleasant. Rev Borghardt’s theme was dealing with the news of the gospel and salvation that comes through Jesus Christ. Rev Borghardt’s theme used verbs that had Jesus as the subject of them. Some of these verbs are to make holy and died to take our sin.
